TLDR: thinking about transferring to UTK and am a bio engineering student at NCSU. Is there anyone in this sub in Biosystems engineering at UTK who could give me advice? Hey y'all, I'm currently a student at NC state and am majoring in Biological Engineering with no concentration but two minors (accounting and agricultural entrepreneurship). My goal is obviously to work in the ag, business, or engineering world and of course I don't know what I want to do exactly yet. This year at ncsu has been horrible. I love my department and program but I have met three people this whole time, been stuck inside on my computer all day with online class, and had to move off campus to an apartment just to stick around when the dorms closed in the fall. The state has also kept the area more or less shut down so there's really no escape from the solidarity. If ncsu announces that we will be virtual next semester—I'm done. I'm thinking about places to apply for a transfer and wanted to know what the Biosystems Engineering program is like there.
